Ubud

Bali’s Major art and cultural centres, located amongst the rice paddies in Gianyar regency. Professional artists as well as would-be artists, locals and expatriates alike for years have flocked to Ubud. The large number of museums scattered around Ubud, is evidence to the dynamic creativity to found in Ubud. As Ubud is on a slightly higher elevation and quite hilly, the temperature is a little cooler compared to the southern tourist areas. Beautiful rice terraces climbing the steep hillside, with tropical rain forest in the river valleys provides a picturesque setting.

Candidasa

Located on the northeastern coast of Bali, is the small village of Candidasa. A tranquil coastal area nestled between the Lombok Strait to the east and mountains to the west, Candidasa is within close proximity to many historical landmarks of Bali including Bali’s mother temple, Pura Besakih, Tenganan (one of the oldest village in Bali) as well as the ferry terminal to Lombok. Some of the best diving and snorkeling areas in Bali are also within the Candidasa area. As Candidasa has become more popular with day-trippers, the demand for accommodations and eatery places has grown. All in all, Candidasa is a great place to go for a few days of relaxation.

Bedugul

48 km north of Denpasar, this Mountainous lake resort area is composed of 3 lakes (Bratan, Buyan and Tamblingan) and one main town (Candikuning). At an alitude of 1.150 meters above sea level, Bedugul is home to one of the world’s most spectacular set golf courses. Ulun Danu Temple on Lake Bratan. Unique Temple on a small island on the lake. The Bedugul Botanical Gardens (Kebun Raya Eka Karya) with a wide collection of trees and plants.

Sanur

Known for its mysticism, Sanur is still considered today as one of the areas in Bali where you can feel the true spirit of Bali, quiet and relatively laid back. It has a great stretch of white sand beach, with a variety of water sport activities for all ages to enjoy, restaurants, traditional drama places as well as modern entertainment establishments. It is also one of the preferred areas in Bali, where affluent residents prefer to setup residence. Being almost in the center of Bali’s major tourist areas, Sanur is a good location to explore Bali. From Sanur there are regular boats going to Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida.

Tanah Lot

Pura Tanah Lot is a popular place to visit. Located in Tabanan, about 20 km from Denpasar, the temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.

Kuta & Seminyak

The most developed areas in Bali, great for shopping and dining. Plenty of options for nightlife and entertainments. On the opposite side of Sanur, the beaches of Kuta and Legian stretch on the southwestern side of Bali, again only about 20 minute drive from Denpasar or the airport. Surfing is a major activity in these beaches.

Lovina & The North

In the North of Bali, Singaraja was once the capital of Bali and the main gateway for trading on the Island. Despite being well away from the more popular tourist areas of Bali, Singaraja is highly recommended as one of the areas in Bali to visit as it recall what Bali use to be like in the past years. Not as developed the North of Bali has just as much to offer in terms of tourist attractions. Very well known for dolphin watching, snorkeling and other water activities, the Yeh Panas (hot springs) and the Air Sanih (natural fresh water pool) are within the locality. About three hours drive to Singaraja is very scenic and in it self an attraction.

Nusa Lembongan

The enchanted island of Nusa Lembongan lies just 20 kms east of mainland Bali. Reachable only by boat from Sanur. this natural, unspoiled island with its clear calm waters is ideal for numerous water activities, including diving, snorkeling and fishing and so on. A charming and romantic resort island that is ideal for visitors wishing to do nothing but relax and unwind in an idyllic setting.

Denpasar

Places to visit include the Traditional Market where women carry heavy loads on her head with a big basket. Jagatnata Temple is the biggest Hindu temple in Denpasar town which many visited by Hindu people in Denpasar to pray in particular on full moon and black moon. This temple is designed very beautiful with full of religious and artistic ornaments. Bali Museum is located just the next door of Jaganata Temple and in this museum you will find a lot of the ancient monument of prehistory owns very high artistic value. Bajra Sandhi Monument is a luxury monument standing up in the middle of Denpasar town.
